Greetings, dear friends

I hope all my friends are well and healthy, by God's grace. I am also doing well. I am @green015 from India. I have brought a new post for you all.

Today, I will be making food coloring using a natural method. Often, it's difficult to find the desired food color in stores. And even if you do find it, it's usually made with chemicals, which can have harmful effects on the body. So, I will be making two colors of food coloring at home using different vegetables, which will be very beneficial for the body. Here, I have made yellow food coloring using carrots and red food coloring using beetroot. These can also be stored for a long time.

Step: 1

First, I will peel and wash the vegetables, namely carrots and beetroot, with water.

Step: 2

Then I will grate them using a grater.

Step: 3

After grating, the carrots and beetroot need to be dried in the sun.

Step: 4

I will spread the grated carrots and beetroot in a container and dry them in the sun for several days.

Step: 5

I will do this for three to four consecutive days.

Step: 6

Once the carrots and beetroot are dried and become hard and crispy, they need to be ground into a powder.

Step: 7

I have ground them by hand using a mortar and pestle; you can also blend them in a blender if you prefer.

Step: 8

After grinding them into a fine powder, I will sift it through a sieve.

Last Step:

This will allow me to collect and store the fine powder.

Finally, I made red food coloring with beetroot and orange food coloring with carrots, completely at home and naturally. Here, I have shown the red color by dissolving a small amount of beetroot powder in water, which turned out very beautiful. Now, it will be easy to color any food whenever needed.

I hope you will like my post very much. I will be back again with a new post later. Until then, everyone stay well. May God keep everyone healthy.

Best regards:

This is a very useful tip. It is much better to add such pure and healthy colors to our food instead of using chemical food colorings. I express my gratitude to you for providing such a helpful post.

I was very happy to read your lovely comment. Thank you very much!☺️
