Hello amigos, saving money for important goals is great, especially when you are ready to buy what you are saving for at all costs. This would keep you focused until you have purchased what you wish to have. Why not join me as I tell you all about what I have been saving for over the past week.

What are you saving for at the moment?

The life we live in compromise of of lot of philosophies; let's take, for instance, you need faith and patience to be disciplined, which are also needed for you to save money for things you will need in the future.

Right now, I am currently saving so that I can purchase a "Hair clipper". This is because I am currently learning how to barb at the De Law Super Hair Cut, where I paid ₦30,000 to my boss as the learning fee, which is worth 391 Steem. I am glad that I am currently learning how to barber, as it would really be helpful for me when I get to school.

I would be able to barber individuals and classmates to have some money to become less dependent on my parents for almost everything while in school. I really consider getting a Hair Clipper the most important thing to save for right now, as it would enable me to learn how to barber fast and become good at cutting all the hairstyles. Having the new clipper will also enable me to be able to barbear at home to gain more experience.

Why do you want the item, how much does it cost, and how long will it take you to save enough money to be able to buy it?

The reason why I want to purchase this clipper is that I feel that practice makes perfect; it's also because, when I have acquired my own clipper, I can have a first-hand experience of how to barbs extremely well. Having the clipper will also help me learn and master ways in which I can use the clipper while barbing also know how to set the blades to prevent it from injuring customers, especially when carving.

The Hair Clipper is not really an expensive item; this is because I feel that it all depends on the kind of clipper you are willing to buy. As for me, I want to purchase a Clipper that's not too expensive. I would say it's the least expensive, which is worth ₦20,000, i.e 260 Steem, notwithstanding that there are others that cost ₦25,000, ₦30,000, and ₦50,000 plus.

Right now, I currently have some funds to purchase the clipper, but I believe that I will have secured the ₦20,000 for the Hair Clipper within 2 weeks from now. I am really sure that I will be able to purchase it before that period.

Where will you buy it from when you are ready to make the purchase?

I don't have any specific Clippers store in mind, but I would like to take a trip to Ikom town to find a good clipper. Ikom town is usually open every day, but the main market day is on Monday where you can find all manner of items you require.

The town happens not to be too far from where I live, so I can easily reach there within 1hr 30 minutes or 2hrs if there's a lot of traffic. But my only issue with the journey is the increased price of fuel in Nigeria; in Abuja, the price of fuel happens to be ₦1,700/22 steem and ₦1,500/19 steem.

And trust me, it would make my budget now become ₦23,500 to transport myself from my house to Ikom, excluding buying any snacks on the way. With the increased price of fuel, I could spend more than I have budgeted for.

Have you checked with an AI Chatbot like ChatGPT or Claude to see if it can find you the best deal for what you want to buy?

I don't really think that there is any need for me to check Claude or ask ChatGPT in order to find the best deal for a "Hair Clipper". This is because there are a lot of places where I can buy the clipper with really great deals. I trust that I can get information from ChatGPT and Claude about good clippers, but I believe that in real life I can find good deals.

The clipper I made us of in the my photos is just an sample from the shop I work in hoping to purchase mine soon.
