How did your parents shape your personality?

To all parents, their children are superior. A crow knows its chick better than a parrot's chick. Similarly, a sparrow's chick is known to that sparrow as more heroic than an eagle's chick. That's how people want their children to be strong, courageous and intelligent in every way. That's how my parents brought me up from a young age. They gave me the education I needed. They made me study well. My education is the main reason I am in a good position today.

A man can attain a good position through education and can earn well through that position but if he does not have discipline he cannot save that earnings and he cannot save that position so parents with them teach discipline to the child also my parents also taught me discipline from a young age and I am disciplined accordingly. I got used to being/

Also being honest has many advantages for us being honest may have some hassles but being honest we don't feel any guilt and also we get good reputation in the society so my parents have taught me about being honest from a young age.

What role do your parents play in your overall well-being?

My father worked as a teacher in a school and my mother was the head of the family. Our mother raised us and made us human. My father was very careful in his work. When I was a child, he was given the best writer award. He was an example to all teachers.

He goes to school before the students come to school. Also, he must be present on days other than school holidays. He will take leave only if there is an unavoidable reason. He expected us to be the same. He was adamant that he should not leave school for any reason. He also expected us to definitely go to school on time. His punctuality really surprised us.

How do your parents encourage your dreams and aspirations?

As my father was an educationist, he gave importance to learning, he allowed me to take any vocational course while studying in school, while studying in our school, I joined courses like typewriting, tailoring, graphs, computer for which he made pieces and whenever he had time, he would take me to the places where the course was held, and after the course was over. He used to come and pick me up and thus helped me a lot in my progress not only for me but also for all my siblings so he is my sister who is a head teacher in a school and my brother who is an advocate.

If one gives advice to another about morals then he should follow those morals and in that regard my father was also non-drinker and non-smoker and he emphasized it to us and also taught us the evils of it from a young age.

Share an experience that highlighted your parents' sacrifices for you?

Parents make a lot of sacrifices for their children. Their children are forever grateful to them. In that way I am also very grateful to my parents. There are so many incidents to tell about it that it is impossible to share them all here. However, there is one incident that I will never forget in my life. I cannot thank my parents for the rest of my life.

That is, my husband was doing a business in the locality and I had my first child, she was two years old. At that time I was enrolled in a college for my management course. Within two months of joining, my husband went to Mumbai on business. He had to stay there for about six months and I had to take care of the local business. At the same time I had a child and I had to take care of her. At the same time, I had to go to college every day. It was very hard time for me to mange these things.

Then my mother took care of my situation and took my daughter to town saying that I will take care of my child. They took care of the child till the end of my course for about a year. As a mother I know how difficult it is to bring up a two-year-old girl, so my parents have helped me tremendously while sacrificing their sleep and peace. Thank you amma & appa...
