Assalaamualaikum.
What kind of tourist attraction spot have you visited? Briefly introduce it.

Today, the tourist attraction that I am going to share with you is the Bhasashaheed Abdus Salam Library and Memorial Museum in our neighboring area. It was inaugurated by Professor Abdullah Abu Sayeed (Chairman, Bishwa Sahitya Kendra). The chief guest was Mr. Mahbub Jamil (Special Assistant to Chief Advisor, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.)

How were the services and activities, both inside and outside? (With pictures + prices, videos)
---
There is a very large library here where there are many types of books and many types of pictures. But especially with books, it is very beautifully decorated. The books have been stored in step-by-step boxes with Thai glass and various photos of Shaheed Salam are hung on the walls.

There are many types of books starting from early history and there are many types of books on government subjects. In addition, there are many tables where you can sit and read. In a word, it is a very good place to gain knowledge. Different types of people come here to read these books and see their memories since he was a brave freedom fighter.
And the service there is quite good. The person who works there makes arrangements for people to enter there without a ticket. Because there is no ticket required to enter there and read the books. Besides, there is no opportunity to take books from there and read them at home, but if someone wants, they can read books there from ten in the morning to four in the afternoon. There is no restriction for anyone in that case.

What was the demand for visitors like during the morning, afternoon or evening?
---
People go there more in the afternoon. Because in the afternoon, you can enjoy sitting there and reading books to gain knowledge a lot. Also, I think it is actually the best place for book lovers. And it is open from 10 am to 4:00 pm. After that, the library is closed, but everything else is open.

There is a Shaheed Minar here and the buildings are decorated very beautifully. In addition, security is maintained around it through CCTV cameras. Although the place is quite open, there is a boundary around it. And you have to enter through the gate. There is also a primary school there and that too in the name of the language martyr Abdus Salam. There is also a field for playing.
What did you learn or how did you feel from this 24-hour experience?
---
Actually, it was very nice to visit this place and spend some time there. Among the things that I learned there, the most important thing to know is some information about the life of the language martyr Abdus Salam, which is very important. For example, he was born on 27 November 1925 in Laxmanpur (present Salam Nagar) village of Feni district. His father's name was Fazil Mia and his mother's name was Mrt-Dolater Nesha.

On 21 February 1952, students and the public demonstrated in front of the Dhaka Medical College hostel, ignoring Section 144, demanding that Bengali be made one of the state languages of Pakistan. Abdus Salam joined this protest. In fact, it is very important for the young generation to know this. And I learned this there because I would not have known the details about this if I had not gone there.

I also learned that when the police opened fire on this protest of the students and the public, Abdus Salam was shot and injured. Then, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. After being treated in the hospital for one and a half months, he died on April 7, 1952. In February 2000, he was posthumously awarded the Ekushey Padak. His martyrdom serves as a guide to awaken the national consciousness and patriotism of Bengalis in the future. Anyway, I have presented some information to you through the competition.
