What kind of Offbeat Landmarks have you visited? Briefly introduce yourself.

As Offbeat Landmarks, I want to share a review of a mosque with you today. Which is a very old and well-known mosque. And I am very happy to share the review of this mosque with you. This mosque is our own mosque. This mosque is basically managed under our house. And it is located next to our house. Due to which it does not take much time to go here.

It has been established here a long time ago. In fact, it was established before I was born. Basically, one of our elders runs this institution. Since then, it has been gradually improved. I have visited here many times as a child. I do not visit much as I grow up.Sometimes I go to visit. Since it is a madrasa in addition to a mosque, it has been named Jamia Islamia Arabia Madrasa.

How were the activities, services and facilities at this place? (With pictures + prices, videos)

It is a mosque, madrasa and orphanage all together. Basically, the mosque was established first. Later, a small orphanage was built in it. Due to which many orphan children get the opportunity to study here. Apart from that, donations are taken here and this institution is mainly run through those who donate. However, the mosque has been established very beautifully. There is a five-time prayer arrangement here. There is a separate arrangement on Friday. And since it is an orphanage, there are many children here. Here, they grow up from small to large and then complete their studies and go to study at a higher level.

When I went to this mosque, it was Friday afternoon. Everyone had a day off that day. Huzoor was not in the mosque in the afternoon. Only the children who were there were walking around, playing games. And at this time, I went and took a few pictures and videos. Besides, because there are many Huzoors at other times, it is not possible to go here all the time. There is a pond on the opposite side of this mosque. Which is huge. And a lot of fish are cultivated in this pond. Which is to meet the needs of the mosque's hujur and all the children of the madrasa.

What did you learn about the history of that place?

This was a small mosque long ago. Then the place was kept separately from our house as a boundary. So that an orphanage could be opened here along with the big mosque. And arrangements could be made for the orphaned children to be educated. Although this is mainly a mosque, there are a few other Huzoors and teachers in the mosque besides the one who leads the prayer.

Who educate everyone. Since that old time, the madrasa has been improved a lot. And the building next to it has been completely new. So that all the teachers and students can live here comfortably. Along with that, this building has been declared as a shelter center. This building was declared as a shelter center during floods or disasters.

Share your experiences of that place as a Curious Explorer.

Since it is our own mosque and madrasa, it can be said that we have a good idea about it. It is a very popular and large mosque-madrasa in our area. And since orphan children are educated here, many people donate here and sometimes food and drink are arranged here. Especially every Friday, sweets are arranged here. So that orphan children can also eat and everyone in the area can eat. Besides, there is an opportunity for helpless and poor children to study here. Which is at a very low cost or even free. It is mainly run with the donations received from our house members. And every Ramadan, a large-scale food and drink is organized here, which is the tradition of our mosque. After all, it is a reputable institution in our area.
