My Lifestyle in Ramadan Kareem
Good evening to all Steemit friends everywhere. Happy fasting during Ramadan 1447 Hijri.
Alhamdulillah, Muslims all over the world are reunited with this glorious month. The month where all acts of worship will be multiplied by Allah SWT. The most anticipated month for Muslims in 1447 Hijriyah has entered its 10th day. Ramadan is a holy month full of blessings and forgiveness, where Muslims are required to fast to achieve piety.
The virtues of the month of Ramadan include the revelation of the holy book Al-Qur'an, the night of Laylatul Qadar which is better than a thousand months, the opening of the gates of heaven, and the rewards are multiplied. This makes this moment an opportunity for every Muslim to improve themselves, increase their worship, and repent to Allah SWT. The month of Ramadan is a momentum to improve our relationship with Allah and fellow humans. Another routine that I carry out during Ramadan is still carrying out my teaching duties at school.
I've experienced many differences during Ramadan compared to the other eleven months. My routine during Ramadan is also very different, making this holy month even more memorable. The extraordinary virtues naturally fuel our enthusiasm as Muslims to intensify our worship. The routine of waking up early for sahur, waiting for iftar, and performing the evening Taraweeh prayers is something I eagerly await.
For me, the month of Ramadan is the most important time to practice patience, honesty, discipline, and social empathy by restraining hunger, thirst, and desires. Fasting during Ramadan teaches Muslims to live a simple life and control themselves from arrogance. There are many moments I look forward to most during Ramadan, with the most memorable being the moment when I break my fast before sunset.
With the priority that Allah gives in the month of Ramadan to all devout servants, Muslims should take advantage of the opportunities in the month of Ramadan. Fasting in the month of Ramadan is also one of the obligations of Muslims as ordered by Allah and the Messenger contained in the Pillars of Islam. This is based on the Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Baqarah verses 183-185. As Muslims, what we have to do is increase our worship by increasing our reading of the Qur'an.
Then perform tarawih prayers, qiyamul lail, and iktikaf at the mosque. The month of Ramadan is the best time to give charity and share with others. In order to get abundant blessings and rewards, friends must also watch their words and behavior. Avoid dirty words, lies and useless actions so that our fasting does not just mean hunger and thirst. Finally, let us as Muslims use the month of Ramadan to improve ourselves to become more pious individuals.
I invite my friends @suboohi, @sualeha, @bahrol, @max-pro, and @pandora2010 to join this contest.
