I invite all my Steemit friends to the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 28. I am grateful to @steemitblog for giving me this opportunity. In this course, every week we will explore a different kebab recipe, recipe ingredients, and cooking method.
Introduction to Kebab
Kebabs are one of the favorite dishes, famous for their rich taste, texture and irresistible aroma. They are made with minced meat, spices, herbs and pulses. Kebabs come in different varieties, from the smoky grilled Shami Kebab to the smoky grilled Sheek Kebab, known for their distinct taste. The versatility of Kebabs makes Kebabs special, Kebabs are prepared by frying, grilling and baking. They are served as snacks with biryani, pulao, rice, naan bread, paratha, chutney. Kebabs provide the perfect blend of tradition and taste. Making Kebabs at home is very easy and nutritious. Kebabs are an ideal dish for parties, family meals or festivals, which are prepared with a few basic ingredients and spices. Delicious Kebabs play a helpful role in satisfying our every craving.
The Kebab Challenge
In the sixth week of the Kebab Challenge, we will learn the technique of making fish kebab. Fish kebab can be made in many ways, it is very easy to make and can be prepared in a very short time to entertain guests. Fish kebab is made with fish, fish kebab can be made with any fish. This week, we will discuss the process of making fish kebab in a very simple way. Delicious food is created by the magic of the hands of a skilled chef who plays with the cooking ingredients. Fish kebab adds a unique blend of texture and flavor to the food. Homemade kebabs are as delicious as they are healthy, so that everything is used in moderation. The specialty of making fish kebab is that any fish that is at hand can be added to make it, fish contains a lot of protein which is beneficial for our body. In the sixth week of the Steemit Learning Challenge, I am going to share an easy and delicious recipe for making fish kebab.
Ingredients
Ingredients required for making Fish Kebab:

| Chopped onion | 1 cup |
| Chopped coriander | 1 tbsp |
| Egg | 1 pcs |
| Kebab masala | 1 tbsp |
| Chili powder | 1 tbsp |
| Turmeric powder | 1 tsp |
| Cumin powder | 1 tsp |
| Ginger paste | 1 tsp |
| Garlic paste | 1 tsp |
| Cinnamon | 1 pcs |
| Black cardamom | 1 pcs |
| Salt | As taste |
| Tasting salt (Optional) | 1 tsp |
| Cooking Oil | 2 cup |
You can use any fish to make fish kebab.
MAKING PROCESS
Step 1:
- For the fish kebab recipe, I soaked 1 cup of daal in water for 4 hours. After soaking in water for four hours, I washed the daal with clean water. Here, boiled potatoes can be used instead of lentils.
Step 2:
- In a pot, I added soaked lentils, chopped onion, chili powder, turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon cooking oil, cumin powder, salt, garam masala, cardamom and 2 cups of water and stirred it. Then I put the pot on the stove and boiled the daal on medium heat.

Step 3:
- Once the daul is cooked, pour it into a bowl and let it cool. Once it is cool, put the daul in a blender jar and blend it.

Step 4:
- To make fish kebab, I washed and cleaned the fish thoroughly. Then I rubbed the fish well with ginger paste, garlicpaste,salt and 1 teaspoon of kebab spices.

Step 5:
- I heated oil in a pan on the stove and fried the fish until lightly browned. Adding kebab spices to the fish will give it a nice aroma while frying and will eliminate the fishy smell.

Step 6:
- At this stage, the fish pieces need to be separated. After separating the fish pieces, I took the blended daal and fish into a mixing bowl.

Step 7:
- Now I added chopped onion, chopped green chilli, 1 teaspoon of kebab masala, chopped coriander leaves and salt to taste to the fish and daal. Then I mixed everything well with my hands.

Step 8:
- I added an egg to the kebab mixture, then mixed everything very well again. Then I took a kebab-sized amount of the mixture in my hand, rolled it into a ball, pressed it with my hand, and filled it into the kebab shell. I made all the kebabs in the same way and put them in a bowl.

Step 9:
- Heat the oil in a pan and drop the kebabs into the hot oil. Heat the oil well and drop the kebabs into the oil. When the kebabs turn brown, stir them with a spoon and remove them as desired.

Final Presentation
Now the Fish kebabs are ready to serve. It will be doubled in flavor with your choice of sauce. The juicy taste and aroma of spices in every bite will enhance the mood.

Prepare the Fish Kebab recipe step by step and describe the detailed procedure with pictures. Must use your own pictures. (5 Marks)

Delicious post! The fish skewers look super juicy and perfect for a summer barbecue—I love the idea of marinating them with fresh spices, like cumin and garlic, like in Middle Eastern recipes. I'll try using Garda whitefish for a Venetian touch, perhaps adding rosemary and lemon. Congratulations @jimiaera02, great content.
