What kind of City Landmark Zone have you visited? Briefly introduce it.

The location I am going to share with you is Iqbal Memorial Degree College which is located in Daganbhuiyan Upazila of Feni district. Among these, only one college was established in 1985 and it was founded by Abdul Awal Mintu. who is a very good person and a person from his own area and he is a prominent politician and he is also a very big businessman. And through him this college was established and the light of education spread all around.

There is a history behind this college which everyone in our area knows. The reason for establishing this college out of a strange love and compassion is that Abdul Awal Mintu Sahib's younger brother died at a young age due to some unknown reason and his family was very saddened by it.

Later, Abdul Awal Mintu thought of opening an institution in the name of his brother. Although there is a high school in front of his house, he saw that there was no college in Dagan Bhuiyan, so he thought of establishing a college in the name of his brother. He did the work according to what he thought and he made such a big college in Dagan Bhuiyan free for everyone.

Currently, many students come to our area to study, although not only from the area but also people from other areas come to this area or to study in the college here. Although it was initially free for the college in general, later gradually degree and honors have been added here because these have been kept according to the needs of the people or students so that everyone can have everything in one place.

The quality of education in this college is very good because it is the only college, so the college authority wants to maintain it well. However, I went around different places and did some photography and videography, although books were not allowed here and we were students here at one time. There are many wonderful environments here, such as a big pond next to the college and many people come to bathe in the pond and here politicians cultivate fish according to their teams and the college looks quite nice from this pond. Besides, the college is very tall and trees are planted in front and behind the college in a beautiful row.

At one time, many people used to come inside this college just to hang out, but gradually when they saw that its bad sides were emerging, it was seen that it was necessary to close it and since then this gate system was made.

I myself had to enter today by chance because it is not always possible to enter here. Another thing is that this college was not a government college at first, but later it was gradually converted into a government college.
