In last part of this post, I have shared some basic things of ICO and how they are important in this crypto and Blockchain World. But there are some limitations of it. Some previous experience and examples were not good. In ICO Projects, truth was not always good. Many ICOs was scam. That is the real problem of it. Some good projects did very and performing well still now. But scam was available here as well. As this is worldwide project, so difficult for the foreign people to find the trustworthiness of the project well. In this digital world, scam is very easy indeed. People use their brain in unfair means. Some team raise funds and run away. Some did not have real work plan. They only make tokens and promise big profit. Investors lost huge amount. Governments start to warn people. Many countries ban ICOs. This is what happened really. Some places made new rules. USA treat ICO as security. That mean follow same laws like stocks. That was good. But with the regulation, number of ICOs go down. Still the token funding idea keep alive. Then came IEOs and STOs. But ICO stay important. It show world how easy to raise money without bank. It also show blockchain power to connect all. ICOs prove token can be more than currency. Token can be ownership or ticket to project. This open door for DeFi, NFT, gaming and more. ICOs was first step. Now market is more safe. Investors want real product. They want road map and proof. Regulation now more strict. Still ICO give strong lesson. It show small teams can collect big money from world. It also create fail and win stories. Both give lesson for future. Some call ICO wild west of crypto. Others call it the light that start innovation. I also believe that it is a innovation. ICO opened new era for finance. I like this system. This is making some way for the developers to explore them worldwide and with the help of blockchain, making their goal and dream successful. Not only beneficial for them but also for the worldwide investors.
