I could not resist and not to post this image, I really like it and find it both really cool and cute. I wonder if there is any life anywhere in space if those creatures have the same feelings like us. If they also social type and need someone who they like to spend time with and also if they protect their own family and friends. As typical human we always like to believe that it is true. So you have to decide yourself what do you want to believe.
I am now completely amazed at how you have created a masculine and feminine impression with these very archaic, stereotypical aliens! I can't see any concrete differences in the depiction, and yet the ‘girl’ is clearly sitting on the right...

It is interesting what you say, there are some features of face that we used to associate with feminine and certain with masculine. That is why the trick that artists easily use to show what and how they see. I like that you noticed that too, that was the whole point :)
