So far, it's a good read. I'm on Chapter XI of Part 2, and except for the [spoiler deleted] scene, it reads more like a thriller than a straight horror.
If you remember, I liked a detective story you wrote here.
The part in the first story where the character Eddie was walking down the old dirt road actually happened to me.
It shows! You're following the first rule of good writing, "Write What You Know."

That detective story was so bad... I quit writing half way through lol! More than a horror story I wanted to do a study of evil. Like I say- if you want a good horror story, watch the news!
