Interesting quote. I've of course heard of Albert Pike, but I have never seen that particular quote.

I do see some value in the quote, though personally I am not someone who believes in Lucifer.

I do believe in Good and Evil. To me they essentially boil down to voluntaryism and involuntaryism.

With that said. It doesn't matter if I believe in Lucifer or not if there are those that take action that do.

I also see it as a particular waste of time to try to cast things into a body of some supernatural Lucifer that I can't personally do a lot about.

I focus on what I can do.

Though I will say the quote has some important things to consider that can be considered without focusing on the religious parts of it.

Though I do know the World War III bit was an addition since he lived and died before any of the World Wars.

You did stoke my curiosity though and I'll have to look into Pike with more depth than I have before. I just knew of him in terms of Free Masonry.
