[수다쟁이 #980] 밀깡
요즘 제주는 밀깡철입니다.
귤, 감귤, 밀감으로 불리는 밀깡은 제주에서 쓰는 귤을 지칭하는 단어입니다.
밀깡철에는 일손이 부족해서 다들 품앗이를 하곤 합니다.
그리고 직장인들은 휴가를 내고 밀깡밭으로 알바를 하러 갑니다.
요즘 일당이 여자들은 도시락을 가지고 가면 9만5천원, 남자는 15만원까지 한다고 하네요.

그래서 요즘 휴가를 통제를 하고 있습니다.
회사에 휴가 내고 알바를 가는 사람들이 많거든요.
회사 동료들도 밀깡밭 몇백평씩은 가지고 있는 사람들이 많아서 서로 도와가면서 밀깡을 수확하기도 하구요.
암튼 덕분에 저는 올해도 귤을 하루에 열개 이상씩 먹고 있습니다. ㅎ
