January 11, 2026: Best City I've Lived in...

Ansan, South Korea

I liked this place because this was a place that had a lot of foreigners and a lot of foreign restaurants, and the food was really good there. Unfortunately, there were a lot of foreign residents, which caused a lot of crime, which is very high in Ansan, but still. I liked Ansan pretty much. I lived in Ansan for 9 years and also ran an English hagwon there for about 7 years. It was nice. I lived in Danwon-gu and Sadong.

I really liked Daebudo. The 조개구이 is great~ and the ocean is pretty, but too cold . Very relaxing, though.
