The quarterly special thanksgiving of God's people is nearing and there will be a lot of prasing

The old entrance gate. Inside the convention center is the free college, free clinic/diagnostic center, the park known as "Walk of faith", some homes, the transmission tower, the chapel, the new baptistry, and the free home for the elderly and minors without parents, etc.

We will be celebrating our church's quarterly thanksgiving to God and it is named as "Thanksgiving of God's People" and it involves all of the members offering Thanksgiving from all over the world. We have members in South America and parts of Africa as well where most of the members there are native to the region where they live and are very thankful that they finally found the true church of God in which the true teaching from the bible are taught and practiced where the main theme is love thy "neighbor" and do good things for the glory of the name of God.

Our church's thanksgiving is a thanksgiving to God because we believe that we cannot pay for his mercy, goodness, love, grace, etc. but a way of Thanksgiving which is hours of offering songs of praise as offerings and this one is from the whole congregation from the quarterly celebration which is also known as Special Thanksgiving of God's People.

Our thanksgiving celebration is a series of a three-day gathering of members from their respective country, region, districts, and localities which means that a member can go to their local church and meet with other members there and remotely watch in real time the what is transpiring to the program which is like an extended church gathering comprised of sing hymns, followed by the opening prayer, followed by offering donations for the operation of the church charity services, etc., it is followed by offering songs of praise by division, country, districts, church locality, individual people, and then the whole congregation, then some other videos showing our minister visiting parts of the world where the church has a charity activity, etc., it is followed by members telling what they had learned from the last topic discussed, and then it is followed by a recap of what transpired from the last discussion of topics, then finally the topic discussion by our minister and other ministers, after that it is followed by more songs, and finally we offer prayers. That is basically it and we do it three times one day at a time.

Other religions are taught to "Terrorize your Enemy!", while true Christians are taught to love your neighbor.

From the former times there will be at least one topic discussions per day because the celebrations is longer per day from around 6:00 Am of the morning to up to midnight.. per day. Me and my brother as well as some friends from the church would set-up a tent at he back of the convention center together with other people or groups which had pitched their own tent here as well from a family size tents to bigger ones which can accommodate many people and for me and my brother, we will stay there near our tents until the end of the program at around midnight to get back in the morning and it was fun because often we cook our meals and sometimes we buy our foods and eat them together, talk, and listen to the program is it transpires particularly when the topic discussion begins. It was just cheery and festive because large amount of people would congregate in the main convention center alone not to mention other members who are in constant monitoring in the respective places of worship.

Our Special thanksgiving is a festive occasion and it is done very four months aside from the weekly thanksgiving offered by other members and groups. There are solemn instances where members sing hymns prior to the opening and closing prayers. Forgiveness is rewarded to members that got suspended because of many reasons and all in between is fun and happiness about glorifying God with offering of songs, meeting distant friends, hearing of good news done by the church, the charity works, etc, and some things that I cannot enumerate here are the part of the celebrations.

Now the convention center was changed and houses the big airconditioned chapel where only a relatively small amount of people can physically attend and all other would just attend in their localities which is actually the norm before but attending in the former set-up in main convention center is different for the reason that many members would go there and that place would be jam-packed with people coming from many provinces around even from the center and the southern islands which what makes it fun especially when the former Minister was still alive. But regardless that our former minister is not anymore around, he already had taught us enough to lean on doing good things which is to love other people, doing good for the benefit of their lives and their road for working on for the mercy and salvation of God.
