When Love becomes madness and chaotic
Love is the most beautiful feeling and yet sometimes it can become the most disturbing feeling also. Love between two people can make a beautiful life together, but when that love becomes obsession all the beauty fades away. Two of my very good friends got into a relationship and for a long time it was a nice healthy relationship. But after some time the guy started becoming insecure and started to control the relationship by questioning everything that the girl would be doing.
Slowly gradually he has issues in where she was going, what she was wearing and would keep doubting her all the time. They have sone age difference between them, so I assume that's what is causing the insecurity.
Now they have reached a stage where the girl is feeling suffocated in the relationship and wants to end, whereas he is not willing to end and keeps chasing her all the time. Its disturbing when someone is after your back all the time.
Whatever relationship you are in, you need space and that's a golden rule for any healthy relationship.
The scene is now full of obsession, madness and chaos. She wants to end and he just cannot accept this. The girls is scared that he may take some drastic step in this madness so she is going slow and easy. I feel sad for both of them that their relationship has reached to this stage where it's difficult to even mend.

Of course, it is sad when a relationship ends—usually for one of the partners, sometimes for both. Nevertheless, it is unacceptable not to respect such a decision! Any attempts to influence or pressure the other person at this point are a criminal offense!
People change, and not always in parallel or in the same direction. That's not a bad thing; it's just life. In the case you describe, however, I would argue that the relationship was never healthy in terms of mutual trust.
True, life should keep moving ahead, feelings and emotions can change with behavior, and when it gets destructive and toxic it really gets scary. In this case, now I am more worried for the boy because he is behaving very irrational.
