Her Scary Monster looked for a sponge to throw. This might appear to be a fairly surprising suggestion, to me and my children, but not to the Monster, who felt it was out of this world. Who would have imagined, a sponge being the item selected.

Her Scary Monster craved for a sack of potatoes that they liked to embrace. This is certainly a surprising action, to my neighbour, but not to the Monster, who assumed that this idea is magnificent. You wouldnt have thought, a sack of potatoes having that done to it

It should have been a fairly bizarre suggestion, to me and my parents, but not to the Monster, who felt that it was in fact, out of this world. You wouldnt have thought, a can of Dr Pepper was the item that was chosen.
