Plagiarism, duplicate content, copyright infringement, and spam are practices that damage the platform's reputation, so it's important to review content for these types of abuses that are intended to exploit the reward system.

The Steem Watcher team is aware of the effort involved in content review and is therefore actively supporting the detection of abuse.

  • To date, I have reported 2,326 cases of abuse involving 1,153 users. In October, we removed $2,678,331 in downvotes against blacklisted users.
