Do you know that these are HIVE, not Steem?
Technically hive is just steem version 23 renamed hive.
But yeah, I doubt when steem moves to version 23, they will do the same thing with those accounts specifically.
Just mentioning it is possible (and scary) that wallets can be entirely manipulated without keys during hardforks.
Very true. Especially the last part - it essentially means that main witnesses and/or someone with DAO account authority may screw the chain whenever they want.
But you realize that this is possible on literally every chain? That's the very foundation of how consensus works.

You know that steemit and hive are 2 diffrent blockchains right ?
Steemit has no hive because they where not part of the Airdrop on hive.
Their was no powerdown from @misterdelegation or @steemit or something like this.

Yes, technically speaking there was a hardfork. Also the powerdown was not initiated by those accounts themselves.
It is different depending if you are on 22 (steem) or 23 (hive). We always knew it would require a hardfork to change. The chain split was just because of disagreement over the issue.

I think it would also require no voting on rewards for a minimum of a week after power up. Hive wont allow witness or proposal voting for 30 days after power up, but I think that is a security feature.
The differences in the chains are worth analyzing, even if we all disagree why or how it happened.
