Only then will you be recognized, rewarded and applauded
Haven't you had the feeling for some time that everything is a farce, everything that happens around us... is not real. It is some poorly concocted plot, created by some talentless directors who don't even try to be interesting, to put together plausible stories, to follow a unified plot line, and so on. At the very least, to try to follow some laws. Which only ordinary people are obliged to do. Not only that on a global level, those who drop the most bombs are called peacemakers, those who kill women and children are called saviors of humanity, and thousands of other people, of all nationalities and representatives of so many countries, applaud and support them. Imagine - they support and encourage war and murder. I have to tell you, it's very unfortunate and even scary to meet a person and hear them support war. In a personal conversation. It's so horrifying and gives a feeling of such helplessness. It really kills faith and hope in humanity, in the future of humanity.
It's a farce when communists call themselves democrats. The last joke I heard was that in a developed country in Western Europe, probably not only in one, many people want to abolish democracy. I think these are adventurers who are fed up with the order in the country, as well as their nice and orderly life, so they want something more... twisted and dangerous, without even knowing the essence of their demands, without knowing history at all.
But it's also about the things that happen in a country on a daily basis.
I won't go into details or conspiracy theories, nor into the horrific events that follow one after another in Bulgaria, literally non-stop. But there was one evening just recently, when the news, one after another, made me say WTF, how is this possible, and in general, what is this life about... As I said, when the most important news is presented by a person who cannot articulate properly, and the things that are presented are simply outrageous, you can be left speechless.
It was an evening in which there was a lot of laudatory news about the new government, about the girl who became an MP at 23, an "expert" in a municipal enterprise before she turned 20, who got her diploma some time after she got into parliament. I already told you about this girl when she was promoted by a party and I told you that not only will she enter the National Assembly, but after that happens, in another year she could be made Prime Minister and then President. And I'm not kidding.
I read the great post that the person who has pushed her into the party - a friend of her father - had written about her, how one day he asked her if she wanted to come work for him as a parliamentary assistant. And she said that it was her childhood dream. And how he took her on a trip where her main task was to keep him awake behind the wheel. Don't think that parliamentary assistants have other tasks. And now here is this young and inexperienced girl in parliament. And thousands of people, zombies, as I call them, are applauding. As if all this is not offensive to all the other hard-working, knowledgeable and capable, educated people in this country who simply don't have the connections of this young girl's parents. And who often find themselves unemployed and then can't find one because they don't have these contacts and there's no one to ask them - do you want to come and assist me in doing nothing and get a lot of money for this assistance.
Yes, my dream is also to not work at all, as she has said. But when I registered at the labor exchange in the city I live next to, the employees made me deregister because I wouldn't find a job, they said, I was too qualified for the area. This is how the state takes care of the unemployed. While it gives away positions and high salaries to inexperienced young people with connections.
And all this wouldn't be so unpleasant if it weren't applauded by thousands, if not tens of thousands of people, zombie people, deprived of the opportunity to think and reason independently - young and old, uneducated or intelligent, all brainwashed, as if they would be happy if such a girl snatched the job from under their noses, with no experience, no knowledge, no skills, just because her father knows someone.
Of course, similar things happen in all countries. For example, the Ukrainian ambassador to Bulgaria - a sexologist with no diplomatic experience, when she was appointed ambassador, the wife of a mafia boss. Don't think that Zelensky gives a damn about any laws, morality, or anything else. But what is important in this case for me is not what Zelensky has done or what is being done in other countries, what is important to me is what other outrage has happened in Bulgaria, because it affects me directly, has affected me in the past, or will affect me in the future for sure.
Then they said something on the news about another Bulgarian author nominated for the Booker Prize. And then I realized - authors from the same publishing house are nominated for this award. A publishing house, sponsored and created with funds from Russia in the past, by the mother of this same MP who hires young inexperienced girls as assistants. The same one, once sponsored by Russia, now siphoning money probably from Western Europe and America through funds and foundations of the now "right-wing" party in documents, of which he is a member. When I tell you that there are cunning people in Bulgaria who take money from both Russia and America, I begin to suspect that these are actually a large part of Bulgarian politicians. And how only from this publishing house there are Booker nominated writers - one, the one who actually won this prize, quite mediocre at that? Imagine what influence this man has, here and there, no matter how much he looks like a clown otherwise, I don't even want to get into the dirty conspiracies of the authorities, who is who and what he could do. Apparently the possibilities are incredibly many and unimaginable.
Then on the news they praised that girl who won Eurovision with a pseudo-"Bulgarian" song. Here again there are many conspiracy theories. Mainly about the fact that the song contains satanic motifs. And the fact that later they gathered part of the National Assembly, who bowed before her - draw your own conclusion what this shows. The non-conspiracy theory is that a young girl won the selection to represent the contest with a substituted and falsified vote, sang falsely, probably sang on a recording at Eurovision so that what was heard could be heard, remained in the final along with Israel and they somehow, out of moral shame or a fixed vote, let her win, or rather they made it so that she won so that there wouldn't be a huge political scandal.
And then everyone had to bow down to this girl. Even famous musicians came out in support of her. Even my "favorite musician," who I like so much as a musician, came out in support of her and I said to myself, are you deaf or just paid? Because if you're a real musician, you can't say that this girl has incredible talent, you can't help but hear that she's singing out of tune. And that was a really big disappointment, one of the many that you follow every day on a daily basis and that you wonder where they came from, how they happen, why they happen.
So, people who can't talk present the news, people who can't sing win "singing" competitions, murderers prepare to be Nobel Peace Prize winners, and people who have convictions for crimes against humanity present themselves as saviors of that humanity. What else?
I am extremely angry at the way my parents raised me, not because of anything else, but because their constant criticism and lack of support made me an extremely shy and insecure person who strives for perfectionism, for a job well done. And what - only if you screw up everything in the field in which you are appointed with connections, only then will you be recognized, rewarded and applauded!

![]() | Soul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you. |
Personally, I am a sensitive soul with a strong sense of justice.
Traveling and photography are my greatest passions.
Sounds trivial to you?
No, it's not trivial. Because I still love to travel to not so famous destinations.🗺️
Of course, the current situation does not allow me to do this, but I still find a way to satisfy my hunger for knowledge, new places, beauty and art.
Sometimes you can find the most amazing things even in the backyard of your house.😊🧐🧭|

Your words paint a vivid picture of the disillusionment and frustration that many people feel in today's world. It's heartbreaking to hear people support war and violence, even in casual conversations. 💔🌎😔

I'm glad you appreciate my attitude towards war. I expect more and more people to realize how dangerous it is to support such a thing in this day and age with such technologically advanced weapons. It's as if the world is a testing ground where someone is just waiting for an opportunity to test out their new weapons, as if this is some kind of child's play.
I really hope you don't write your comments with AI, as a friend of mine who has a lot of experience with AI and programming suggested. If that's the case, I highly recommend that you don't do it.

I celebrate when there are still people who believe in what they do and what they love to do—photography and travel are beautiful passions, and I love them too. If you can do it from the heart, I assure you it will bring you happiness.
I think our parents raised us for an idealized world, and some were stricter, others more permissive, and so on. But if there's one thing I disagree with, it's the lack of support from some parents, because it's in childhood that a sense of security is formed. Fortunately, we can always continue growing in any aspect of life we set our minds to.
Don't get discouraged; there's always a light at the end of the tunnel, and answers and solutions come with time. This is coming from a Venezuelan ;-)
Blessings to you.

Thank you very much for the inspiring words, @ Inspiración! 😊 It is unbelievable that you Venezuelans can be so motivating in a world so unfair to you. You are a role model! Unfortunately, I was born in a continent where I have many false expectations, at least that in this continent things happen that in my country, alas, will never happen. And regarding the world situation, this is something that will never change or be clarified, I have to accept that. Regrettably, the lack of love and support from parents is actually the most frightening thing, the one that could condemn a life to a nightmare without the possibility of treatment and this is something that is difficult to overcome, accept and come to terms with.
Many blessings to you as well!
