Run welsh boy, run...

Wih Christmas a thing of the past, and even January now a distant memory, i promised myself that in February, id get back out hitting those streets and get my fitness back on track.

Slow and steady wins the race, or so they say... and im definitely that at the moment.

Its a start.... i a good way off my fastest pace, but then my fastest pace isn't particularly fast yo those that jog regularly. A 9min 15sec mile gives a solid 2hr half marathon pace, and thats the time i like to complete my half marathons in, so im working on keeping this pace, but upping the distance over the next few weeks.

Being in my late 40s and weighing 17+st (242lbs or 110kg) its not a bad baseline... Ive got something to work from and a goal to get to, so ill keep you all posted.
