Please dont think your votes arent worth anything or dont count they really really do.
Another thing I will add is please vote more on those who are active and have under 4000 steem power the more people we have over 4000 power the more people will earn in the future as the trending page needs variety.
The downfall is the circle jerking when it comes to votes not enough whales are voting on the minnows and dolphins, creating a very predictable trending page.
I wrote an article about upvotes making a difference in the lives of people in third world nations. That said, upvotes are so important for people starting out. No matter the monetary value, people need to see progress. Upvotes do that.
Everyone needs encouragement. There are times we are all lacking in motivation. Personally, I see such great potential that I am not going to stop contributing here no matter how long it takes. Sadly, few have the same outlook. They need to be rewarded.
The upvote system is incredible in the sense it costs one nothing from their wallet. Each vote has a value but the voter doesnt pay it. The compensation is generated out of the pool created that day. So there is absolutely no reason not to upvote. And yes I do understand about sapping VP.
Thank you @taskmaster4450 yes these little votes are very valuable to those with little I for one dont have much either so anything really helps and any progress leads to enguragement. Oh yes I am glad someone else can also see the value this can bring I have seen many many already give up and leave, 13 months and I am not going anywhere. The system is amazing its almost like printing money to help others how much better could it be! Very exciting! No reason not to upvote. Thank you for the wise comment.
Well you might have little but together we can grow.
My desire is to get bigger so that I can pass around a lot of votes that actually have some weight to them. The voting system, losing so much power, makes it tough to just keep upvoting all the good content I come across...at least at a valuable rate. I can upvote at 1% but that doesnt give them much. At least then I can go all day long with only a few seconds in between.
How to best work it? I dont know at the moment...but I am trying to figure it out.
