Hello Dear Steemit Team,

I am submitting my solo application for Steemit Challenge Season 31 with a concept radically different from anything currently on the platform.

SilentWitness is a pure human documentary challenge. No staged scenes, no prepared narration, no script. Just a discreet eye on real life, filmed in a public space with a smartphone, uploaded to Speem.watch, and geo-pinned on SteemAtlas.

The community twist: every video hides one question. Was the scene spontaneous or was it reconstructed? The community votes, debates, and argues. The host reveals the truth at the end of each week. This mechanism creates deep and lasting engagement on every single post.

Mandatory Platforms

SteemAtlas is mandatory. Each participant must pin the exact filming location (public spaces only). The season builds a global map of authentic human moments.

Speem.watch is mandatory. Each video must be uploaded to Speem.watch (20–90 seconds). A YouTube link or any Steemit-embeddable player is also required for curation. IPFS-only links are not accepted.

Challenge Format

Two weekly posts will be published by the host:

• Post 1 Weekly challenge reveal: theme, visual constraint, rules, examples, and deadline.
• Post 2 Results: the six best entries, honourable mentions, truth revelations, and the weekly detective leaderboard.

Each weekly entry must include:

• A SteemAtlas pin on a public, accessible location
• A Speem.watch video (20–90 sec) + YouTube or embeddable link on steemit.com
• A context text (150–500 words max do not describe the scene, just situate it)
• The author's secret declaration: "REAL" or "STAGED" kept hidden until the weekly reveal
• At least 2 screenshots from the video

The Twist: The Detective Game

This is the heart of the challenge. Every published video triggers a debate in the comments.

How to play (mandatory for all participants)

Every participant must comment on at least two entries per week:

1. Vote REAL or STAGED
2. Explain 2–3 visual clues that guided their vote
3. Ask the author one question about a specific detail in the video

Bonus engagement systems:

• Detective Bonus : The participant who correctly identifies the most truths each week receives a special mention in the results post.
• Observation Duel : Two participants can assign each other an identical visual constraint for the same week and compare results.
• Optional video reply : Answer a comment with a short Speem.watch clip (15 sec max) to clarify a detail without revealing the truth.

Goals and Objectives

• Build a worldwide documentary archive of authentic human moments via SteemAtlas pins
• Develop visual observation, smartphone framing, and wordless storytelling skills
• Create strong and lasting community engagement through the REAL / STAGED mechanism
• Position Steemit as a serious and original platform for documentary creation
• Encourage participation from underrepresented countries through the simplicity of the device

Rules for Participation

Content

• Original content only : your own videos and photos
• No plagiarism, no stolen media, no falsified location
• AI-generated articles are not acceptable as replacements for real lived experiences

Technical

• SteemAtlas pin required for every entry (public spaces only)
• Speem.watch video required (20–90 seconds) + embeddable link viewable on steemit.com
• Deadline must be respected, late entries are not accepted

Privacy & Safety

• Do not film strangers' faces directly without their implicit consent
• Do not disclose personal addresses, car plates, or sensitive personal information
• Choose exclusively public, accessible spaces
• Do not endanger others or yourself for a shot

Engagement

• Comment on a minimum of two entries per week with an argued verdict
• The verdict (REAL or STAGED) must be accompanied by 2–3 visual clues
