The First move of our new car

Let me tell you how it happened. Two days ago, we bought a new vehicle—a Suzuki e-Vitara. We decided to purchase it to cope with the current petrol shortage. The surprise element was that we hadn't told our children about the purchase; we wanted it to be a complete surprise. We told them we needed to go to the temple early in the morning and got them ready. We told them our old car wasn't available because it was in for servicing, so we arranged an auto-rickshaw to get there. My son even asked how we would get back home; we told him we could just call another auto later, and then we headed to the showroom.

Once there, we pretended to just browse and look at the vehicles while my husband inquired about the details. They welcomed us and offered us seats. My son was surprised—wondering why we were being served coffee and tea and receiving such special treatment just for looking at a car. I told him they were simply being hospitable. After a while, when we announced that we were taking the vehicle home, he was completely taken aback; he couldn't believe it. Filled with amazement, he kept asking, "Are we taking it right now? Is it coming home with us?" and excitedly ran around looking at it. He climbed inside and explored every feature, pointing them out to me; it was a truly joyful moment. My daughter, however, had figured it out the moment she realized the old car wasn't at home—she knew something was up—so she wasn't quite as surprised.

She was adamant about driving it herself, but my husband didn't let her, explaining that since it was a new vehicle—and an electric one with automatic transmission—there were significant differences in how it operated. We then drove the vehicle to the temple. We recorded a video as we drove out of the showroom, with everyone clapping and cheering us on; it was a very happy occasion. This is our second vehicle. We cannot forget the moment we bought this vehicle; it was a major achievement for us.
