Struggle to Succeed

3 decades back life was extremely slow, there were fewer things happening and whatever happened gained popularity. But now in this time, that's not the case. Our attention span and focus are decreasing. In that time a lot of star artists were born like Michael Jackson, Freddie, Mercury, Elvis from the field of music and in every field, there were few super stars who we were all crazy about.

To think of it, if these same people would have started their struggle in this new age would they have gained the same popularity. I doubt. The major difference is there were very few in that time and they shined bur now there are so many and so much competition that even if they shine it's for a short period and someone else can easily replace them.

Talent was with a few then, but now there is abundance of talent and social media to promote. Also, people get bored very easily, they keep wanting change and new things, so everything and everyone gets outdated soon. It's a struggle for the new artists to stay in business for a longer time. They have to be exceptionally good and more than that their PR and marketing team has to be super exceptionally good.

I remember movies before would run 25 and 50 weeks in a cinema hall, now barely 2 to 3 weeks and then you get to see them on OTT channels. Times are changing super-fast and to shine in so much competition is not at all easy for today's generation. The struggle is very real; they gain popularity fast and lose it equally fast.
