On the way to Miyajama
Miyajama is a very beautiful island, I can say it is one of the best destination on our trip to Japan. From Miyajimaguchi station there is a ferry to be taken to the Miyajama island. The route is scenic. The scenic route starts right from the starting point itself. The walk to the ferry pier is just 5 mins from the station and there is a ferry leaving every 15 minutes to the island. Everything happens quickly. We had taken a 5 days kansai pass and the ferry was covered in it, so there was nothing additional to be paid for it.
It's a 10 minute ride with views of the mountains on all sides. This ride takes us to Miyajama island which is famous for the floating Torri gates and the Itsukushima Shrine. Again these are also beautiful sights to see, which I will share shortly. Today sharing the boat ride views.
Most people think that the trip starts at the Shrine after getting down from the Ferry. But honestly I felt like the trip started from this boat ride point itself. Standing on the deck, absorbing these views and feeling the wind was a beautiful experience.

Ciertamente a veces nos enfocamos más por el destino y olvidamos disfrutar el trayecto. El cruce en ferry hacia Miyajima es una experiencia inolvidable.
