Wat Sanam Nuea, a beautiful temple in Nonthaburi province
Wat Sanam Nuea is a beautiful Buddhist temple which is adjacent to the Chao Phraya River. So, the scenery and the atmosphere is very wonderful.
Apart from the beauty, Wat Sanam Nuea is also well-known as the starting point for tourists to Koh Kret which I presented to you in my old posts. There is a ferry departing from the Wat Sanam Nuea pier to Koh Kret everyday. It is very convenient.
Before traveling to Koh Kret, I took a few minutes to survey the temple area and admire the beauty of the temple.
Most of the buildings in Wat Sanam Nuea, i.e. Phra Viharn, pagoda, bell towers, etc. are magnificent and some decorations are gorgeous.
One of the most attractive statues is Phraya Ek Nakhon Nakarat which is supposed to be sacred and people would likely go to worship.
On my way back home, I encountered some awesome statues and paintings.
It’s very good for me to experience the beautiful Wat Sanam Nuea and these interesting things.
