The Grand Chandelier

Al Bustan is one of the best resorts in the city and the stay there is also super expensive. It is officially a 5 Star resort but it looks nothing less then a 7 star resort. The hotel was a Palace before and it was built with an intention of a royal residence, but later on it was changed from Palace to a Resort property. Hence when you look at the interiors it does not feel short of a Palatial environment. What I admire the most in this place are the grand chandeliers. The center one as well as the other side ones, which are all similar in designs.

Well the stay here is super expensive, but me and hubby do visit the coffee shop in the lobby sometimes. That's affordable and also we can enjoy the ambiance. This is the center chandelier piece. Very grand, it's 18 meter long chandelier and looks like a crystal fountain suspended from the top. A very magnificent piece.

Some times they do have live cultural performances, which is always a delight to watch.

Hubby wanted to take a picture with them and they agreed.
