Festive decorations

The best part of the festivals is adorning homes. There are many ways in which I do that. Rangoli is one of them. It's like a ritual making rangoli on every festival. During this Ganesh Chaturthi festival also, I made some Rangolis at my home entrance. The only problem is that I have to literally warn the kids on my floor to not ruin it. There was a time when any time I would make Rangoli, these kids would ruin it while playing, and sometimes they did it on purpose also. I do not do these things daily so once in a while during good occasions when I do it and they ruin it, then it upsets me. I did complaint to their parents also, but for a long time there was no change.

Finally, I had to complaint to the building management, and then they got a warning after which they stopped. I do not like to do these kinds of complaints, but it was going overboard, and these kids were just not listening to anyone. I had no issues with their playing, but they ruining my good thing was not accepted. Now that they have stopped, I can again do my rangolis. After a long time, I did it at my home entrance, else for some time I was doing it inside the home only.

I made them using stencils on some part and some parts free hand.
