We do not always feel strong
No matter whatever our personality is and how much ever strong we are but there will be times in life when we will feel like quitting. As such I have been the strong one who always holds it up together, whether it is about family or my own personal thing. I can say I am fine even when I am not. I do not like to cry in front of anyone, nor do I like to admit that I cannot do it or that I am tired. I can keep going even if it burns me down. But then in the past few years I realized it is not exactly what I need to do.
It's ok for me to show up weak and ask for help, and say I am not ok today. I realized that strength is not about being unbreakable but it is about showing your broken side and yet choosing to show up every time. The time after covid was extremely difficult for me, struggling financially, dealing with hubby's health and my son's court case stress. It was like all of it coming together on me. With God's grace it's all calmed down now and everything is back on track, but those few years, every day I felt like, life was putting me through the most difficult phase to over-come.
Most of the days I would wake up with energy but then there were few days when I would just not want to wake up. Dealing with uncertainties is never easy in life. In those days all I would do is go completely quiet and sit with myself allowing it to pass. Go for a walk, listen to music, or sometimes even cry it out. I believe that these are the times when we need to be kind to ourselves more then anyone else. Rest, Breathe, it will pass and you will feel strong again. When it feels it's all lost, just hold on, you will see a turn happening somewhere which will bring you back on track again in life. This is what I have learned from my life experiences.
