Obstacles all the way

Back home in India where I made my new home a year and a half ago, in that area the roads are still not very good. It's a complete off road location and there are no proper roads. When I bought this place, there was no electricity and water supply also, we did get it but it took some time and lot of efforts. Now the focus is on doing up the roads, but here we have a lot of obstacles. Some roads are private so those will not be done by the government and for that we society member need to contribute and do up the roads. In this again not all the members are willing to contribute, some of us contributed and got a part of the road done in the first phase but that does not solve the problem. In the rains the roads get extremely messy and difficult to drive. We managed to get one lane done from the funds collected but that's not enough.

The common road project is being taken up by the government and in that also there are some society members who are throwing obstacles and making it difficult for them to work. In a society it's difficult to get everyone on the same page and then there are some people who are never willing to cooperate and always complaint. In our society we have such one person, who is always creating problems for everyone and being a hindrance for all the developments. Sometimes I fail to understand why is he behaving so irrationally, after all the development is also benefitting him so he he should cooperate and not oppose on every action. Yesterday he created a lot of ruckus with the government workers and now today those people did not come for work and everyone in the society is so pissed off with him. The funny part is he has not even paid up his full contribution and yet creates all the nuisance.

Looking at him I really feel that some people are born to create chaos and nuisance and not have any realization about it. We have been trying to pacify those workers and get them back on the job, now let's see how soon that can happen.

This is the stage where the work has stopped now :-(

The problem started here when the person was laying the drain pipes, it is a must for the monsoon as there is heavy water flow from the nearby hills. This work obstructed the entrance of this person's villa for couple of hours and for that reason he created all the chaos, rather then being accommodative.

There is so much work still to be done, all these loose cable have to be set right else during monsoon they can be dangerous.

It's such a beautiful location and if everyone cooperates we can make this place so beautiful

All this is mess and half done now just for one person

Hope the work progresses fast again and gets completed in our set timelines.
