Festival decorations
Last week was Eid and we had a 5 days holiday. Eid is one of the most important festival of Middle East region, It is the day when the month long fasting completes and the celebrations are done with family and friends. The city has some beautiful lights for the festival at several places. This is at one of the Mall that I visited over the weekend. They had some nice glittery lightings for Eid done up.
Clicked some pictures during my mall visit of the light decorations done at the place.
That's a very pretty set up, giving the desert, palm trees and the mosque look, which are all significant to the country.
A better view
There are some pretty lights on each of the lamp post also.
The place looked very attractive with all these lights. Now that Eid holidays are over, in a couple of days these decorations will be removed and it will all look dull again. These festival times bring in a lot of spark into the city and not only that it also brings in spark in our lives. Everything around looks vibrant and colorful.
