Welcoming New Year with Friends
There is no better way to bring in the New Year then being with loved ones. Every year 31st Dec is a big hype, there are celebrations across venues in the city and the ticket prices just keep soaring year on year. From the past few years me and my friends have decided that we would celebrate the New Year at home itself and avoid going to these fancy places. On New Year's eve, no matter how much ever fancy place we go, in the end it is all messy. People over drink and then there is nuisance, so just being in your small circle in your own space is much peaceful.
We planned a barbeque night with drinks, and being at home the other hassle you save up yourself from is the dressing part. I can wear whatever I want, and best is the night wear, so that as soon as I finish the party I can knock off to bed. The other advantage of celebrating it at home is that anyone can wind up whenever they want and there is no stress of driving back home, or limitations on drinking.
All the arrangements were done from before, at night we had to only cook the food, eat, dance and enjoy.
Good ambiance, food, friends and drinks is what you need to party and we had it all. It was the perfect way to bring in the New Year.
