Busy morning with the Doctors

in #healthlast month

I mentioned about the problem with my husband's health. He has been showing decent improvement but still he has cardiac related issues which needs to be addressed. After the hospital incident here, I am a little scared of getting his treatment here in muscat. We have decided that we will fly to Mumbai, where I know Doctors who can genuinely help us without any fuss or unnecessary things to do. It's all happening so fast and I feel I am running out of time to do all the preparations.

We are planning to travel on 9th because he has to complete certain formalities of leave in his office, also we have to get the medical insurance approvals, the hospital booking, all the required Doctor's appointments, and then also not to forget about packing the bags. He will need 3 Doctors, one is the Pulmonologist, the other Cardiologist, and also a hepatologist as he has developed some mild liver issues also. Most important are the Pulmonologist and Cardiologist, because his lungs condition is not at all good and his ECG has not come very good. I managed to get all the Doctor's appointment for the 10th, so that as soon as we reach without any delay his treatment starts.

After we travel to Mumbai, there the Doctor will do further test to exactly diagnose the severity and then accordingly the treatment will be given. I had a very different plan for this month, but it's taking a different turn now. That's what we say man proposes and God disposes. May be he has some other plans for me. The one thing I do not like is hospitalization. I have seen so much of it in my life that I really wish to never see it again, and the best part is, it has never been for myself. It has always been for others, except one time for myself.

I was very annoyed with hubby. Just 5 years back he has been treated for Myasthenia, where he almost lost his life and yet he started smoking again. I had made him quit, but once he recovered he started again. I kept on warning him but he would not listen. He would say only 1, then the 1 became 2 and the number kept going up. I know these addictions are not easy to quit but then what is more important, one has to choose that.

This time I have shown him very clearly that I am not happy with all of this, because his health is his responsibility and not mine. Anyways for now we have to address the issue and do the needful.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

@nainaztengra, your strength and resilience shine through this post! It's truly inspiring to see how you're navigating these challenging health concerns with your husband. The logistics of arranging medical travel, appointments with a pulmonologist, cardiologist, and hepatologist, all while managing the emotional weight of the situation, is a lot to handle. It's completely understandable that you feel overwhelmed and scared after the previous hospital experience.

Your candidness about the frustrations and concern regarding your husband's smoking habit really resonates. I think many people can understand that. It's brave of you to address it directly.

I admire your proactive approach to getting him the best care in Mumbai. Sending you both positive energy for a smooth journey and successful treatments! I hope you find the support you need during this time, and please keep us updated when you can. I will be keeping you in my prayers and thoughts.
