보현보살 권발품

이때에 석가모니불이 칭찬하여 말씀하시되,

착하고 착하다. 보현아 내가 능히 이 경을

호조(護助:지키고 돕는다는말)하여 다소 중생으로

하여금 안락 이익케 하려하니

네가 이미 불가사의 공덕과 깊고 큰자비를 성취하고

구원겁으로 쫓아 아뇩다라삼먁삼보리를 발하고 능히

이 신통원을 지어서 이 경을 호지하니, 내가 마땅히

신통력으로써 능히 보현보살 명자를 수지하는 자를

수호하리라.

At this, Shakyamuni Buddha praised and said,

"Good, good. "I am able to protect and help this sutra

help (護助: to protect and assist) him, so that he may become a sentient being

for the benefit of sentient beings.

Since you have already achieved mysterious merit and deep and great compassion

and you have given rise to the anyodharasamyaksamyaksamvori with the fear of salvation.

and having built this stupa, I should be able to worship this sutra.

I will protect those who are able to attain the bodhisattva name

bodhisattvas.
