Desires Vs being practical

It has always been my wish to have a Sea facing home which gives easy access to the beach, but unfortunately houses in such locations are exorbitant and as of now I am not in the capacity of buying such a place. When I shifted to Oman, I was charmed by its beauty, its surrounded by mountains and has some amazing beaches. That time I thought let me rent a beach side home and live up my dream. I saw a couple of homes, they were all beautiful but they were 2 big for just 2 people, the maintenance would stress me out. Logistically also it was not practical. These homes were all far from supermarket or any provision store. Though I loved them, I wanted to be practical convenience wise, finally I dropped the idea and settled for a home which was practical for my needs.

While having a home did not work out for me, I still make it a point to spend time by the beach side on and off. Here we have many staycations which offer stays at a very reasonable price. Whenever such deals come up I do not miss them, like the last weekend.

At this stay the beach and the pool were connected, giving a perfect location.
