My most active hours of the day
From the moment I wake up in the morning till I go to bed I am not productive all the hours and it happens with all of us. There are moments in the day when we are most active and some moments when we feel dull and need a break. For me, from the moment I have my lunch for the next 2 to 3 hours I like to go easy and not involving myself in heavy tasks. So considering this my lunch is late, it only happens between 2 and 2.30.
Ever since the time I was working, I formed this habit, because at work once I would have lunch then I would like to slow down. I would complete all the very important tasks till then and keep the lighter ones for the afternoon hour. Now I am not working but the habits continue. I finish all my important work at home in the morning hours by 2 p.m. and then I go light and, in the evening, again after 6 p.m. I am active and my mind is again galloping. Then I can go on till midnight.
I plan the day around my body clock and that helps me optimize my daily tasks. Everyone has different ways, and it also depends on individual's energy levels. In the afternoon hour I avoid sleeping because I want to sleep early at night and if I have had an afternoon nap then that does not happen. I watch television or I just laze out, this is the time when I do some phone scrolling or play a game. I try to read a book sometimes but then I doze off if I am reading, so I avoid that also.
I simply believe in one thing, listen to your body and go with the flow of it, and not against it. But at the same time if the body is showing some weird patterns, then that needs attention because something is not right internally which is coming up in the form of disturbed patterns. For e.g. if someone sleeps for 10 hours and still feels tired during the day, this is not normal. If your body is rested so well then once you are awake you should be active.
Bottom line is listen to your body and take action considering what is healthy for you
