The Audit is finally over

It was a stressful week mentally. All I had on my mind was the Audit, which finally got over yesterday. We had a few improvement suggestions but overall, it went very nice and the auditors left happy and on a positive note. It always feels good when a job which has taken up so much of your time, energy and attention gets closed successfully. Now I am going to relax mentally and ease out. This whole week I did not even step out in the evening for my walk. Today I plan to go for a nice long walk by the beach and soak up myself in to the sea air.

Team work is very important for these things, and our team did a fantastic job in putting up the show. Everyone was committed except the MD of the Company who was supposed to be the most committed person. But then he is the MD, we cannot even tell him anything. It was not good on his part that being a senior person he did not take up the responsibility. I did lose my mind on him, but can't do anything much about it. At least the team effort paid off well and I am happy for that. We all have been working on preparing for it since the past 2 weeks and a lot of time and effort has gone in it. If it would have not been successful it would have felt very disappointing.

There were some important points that they highlighted to us which will be beneficial for our own functioning and growth. There was no negative feedback , there were some constructive suggestions which would be good for improvement and growth if implemented. They were very happy that we were organized and whatever they asked for was presented efficiently. Our reporting and documents were all in order. Now we need to work on the suggestion points and in a month's, time again get back to them with our inputs of whether it is feasible for us or not to implement, which is fair enough. It's all going to be over emails and no personal visit, so that can be managed without any stress.

All is well that ends well.
