Beautiful memories
The recent unrest going on in Iran is really very sad to see and hear. When I think of that place I have such wonderful memories and now hearing of all these dreadful events taking place there really breaks my heart. Their internet connection has also been cut down. I remember during my trip to Iran, through out the internet service was very poor, but I was on a holiday so it did not matter much. we had a local couple friends, so they would complain about many things out there, and how they would want to break free from all those rigid rules.
The women has to have their heads covered all the time. Right from the time you land at the airport till you take off. Even in hotel lobby I had to cover up my head. In short, once you step out of your room your hands, legs and head should be all fully covered. For people who are not used to it, does feel uncomfortable. But then I feel that when you travel as a tourist to some place, you should respect their culture even if you do not like it, else do not travel there, it's simple.
It was almost a 3 weeks holiday in Iran and I traveled to many places, each one has it's own beauty. From mountains to beaches and archeological sites, ancient palaces, local bazaar, every place is worth visiting.
Sharing some memories of this place and just wishing that peace is restored back.
