Cute Newt desperately searched for a cheese grater to smash. One might find this to be a weird and wonderful idea, to my mum, but not to the Newt, who had decided that it was in fact, miraculous. A cheese grater of all things.

Cute Newt wanted a melon that they would often watch for 10 minutes every morning. It was a fairly exciting exercise, to my mum, but not to the Newt, who thought that the idea was breathtaking. Strangely, a melon is the thing that was chosen.
