Charming parts of the old city

Any city has this old city part and the new city part, similarly Muscat too has this old city area. In the old city you get to see the culture of that city. It's the root of that place. In Muscat the old city has a port, the souk, a gold market, the Sultan's Palace, some Ministry offices and also residentials buildings. As you enter this part of the city, you can immediately differentiate because the whole style changes. The new part of the city has tall buildings, whereas there are all flat structures. Some of the buildings on this side are really magnificent and to be admired for their architecture.

I love to watch these kind of structures, the perfection brings some kind of satisfaction to me.

During the National day all this is lit up with lights and it looks wonderful glittery.
