At the River Front

Last few days I was in Ahmedabad with my family. I had gone there to visit my mom and sister. One of the evening we decided to go to the River front. It's a nice place for spending leisure evening. Right now there is a flower show going on here, so the place does get very crowded, but then I only had 3 days at hand so whatever it was we decided to go.

There is a bridge at the river front which connects the east and the west banks of Sabarmati river. It's called the Atal Bridge. With the lightings at night time, it has become one of the attractions in the city and a central part of the festive atmosphere. Last time when I had visited it was during the day time. This time during the night hours with the lights it was looking very nice. It has a very modern architecture.

This is the entrance of the bridge, it was very crowded so I did not go, and the real charm of it is to see from outside, from where you can see the whole structure and the effects of the light.
