A practice that helps me stay positive
It's true that all the time we cannot stay positive in life. There are situations that can make us feel helpless and hopeless in life, and in such a time there's only one tool that helps infuse positivity which is a prayer. I strongly believe that a daily prayer will help us navigate through life with ease.
Even in my busiest schedule I make it a point to pray even if it is for 5 minutes. It helps me clear my mind and brings me in a positive state. I feel like there is an unknown super power that gets invoked with our prayers. When someone comes to me in distress situation, the very first advice I give them is to start with a daily prayer practice with some positive affirmations.
A prayer has a huge psychological and emotional impact. It gives a sense of calmness and focus in chaotic times. Studies show that regular practice of prayer and meditation helps reduce stress levels and anxieties. A prayer is a simple conversation with God and the Universe; it gives us a sense of aligning with something bigger.
The power of prayer does these three important things for us It centers us, connects us and orients us toward hope or action.
