The Journey Continues

in #steem3 days ago

Today I am completing 9 years on the blockchain and it is quite an achievement of coming this far. A lot has changed since the time I have joined, but then it still goes on which is the good part. A few years back when there was a split and Hive emerged, I was in dilemma whether I should also end my journey like everyone was doing it. There were some unfair practices on Steemit in that time and yes everyone was in rage. I too was feeling it, but then I was only thinking from investment perspective and the goals I have set to achieve from whatever I earn from the platform. That felt larger at that point of time and I decided to continue. Though I have kept both my journeys separate so that there is no conflict of interest. My content is different on both the platforms, very rarely I cross post when it is a common message I want to send out.

I do not know how long this journey will continue, but yes some day it will surely end. I have earned a decent amount of Steem with my work and I am happy with it. Though these days when I see other people blogs with exorbitant payouts and making the same amount in a very short time for which it has taken me so many years, I wonder if I am doing things right.

Whatever it is, I am surely going to complete a decade here and only then quit if I have to. I have come this far so for sure this milestone need to be achieved, and I am also looking forward to achieving 100K Steem Power milestone. Once both of these are done then to be honest I am not sure. May be if not quit then slow down.

Thank you to all those who have always been in my support.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

Congrts on hitting 9 years, but I know what you mean it's all very strange that those who are growing their SP and so keeping the value of Steem alive are often the ones who are being missed when it comes to getting support. While other new accounts get a ton of rewards and just sell it off almost every single time. I think if they would support those in the middle keen on growing their accounts Steem would have not fallen this low.

Thank you for your wishes @simonjay. Yes, too strange and sometimes feel unethical to me.

Upvoted! Thank you for supporting witness @jswit.
