thirtydayfitness - Day 23 - weigh in day

It has been a real mixed seven days, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday were not great days, I fell off the "wagon" with a real thud! Takeaways, beers, treats and no exercise. I pulled it back again on Tuesday but was not quite as good as I was, still good, but nevertheless a wee bit lax in many of the things.

But I started looking at my portion control, kept up my walking and tried to drink more water and eat mindfully

Anyway, without further ado, here is the results of my weigh in

Good progress and trending down for another week

I definitely have a long way to go, but I am getting there and to be honest I am delighted with that weight loss, it should be sustainable and 1 ibs down is good consider a good portion of the weekend and Monday were not particularly healthy days, now I must watch out that I don't celebrate with a blow out, I'll definitely have a treat as it is Friday, but in moderation only and I will take my time and enjoy it.

Just goes to show your on the right track mate. Always pushing forward despite the setbacks. Any improvement is still a massive improvement from the week before. Be proud of yourself that you did enough work that despite the weekend you still made a positive difference. :) Well done buddy! Keep it up!

Glad to see you are sticking with it and keeping on keeping on. That's the way to get where you want.

Only a week left to go and you'll have completed the first 30 days of turning your health around. You'll have done the hard bit, and proven to yourself you can do the rest of it as well.

And with that confidence of success, comes more success.

So good on you. Keep it up. I'm looking forward to seeing the summary of the month when you 'cross the line' at the end of the challenge.

I really did appreciate every word and the fact that you took the time to give some real nuggets of wisdom :-)

Is a start and as you say it is the beginning of the trend, not just about weight but just getting fit and healthy.

Still doing really well and positive progress. We can all lose focus. I'm no exception by any means. With the exception of sticking to the 16 hours (most of the time), I've been repeatedly bad with my food choices. It's taken me until today to get anywhere close to back on track. And I unfortunately put a lot of the 8 pounds I'd lost, back on. So to see that you've never lost the downward trend in overall weight loss, and that's awesome.
