Travel Diaries - Throwbacks - The Giza Pyramids

It is to marvel how some of these ancient structures were made without any advanced technology and machines and engineering tools, and were made to precision. Egypt was one of the important places to visit on my bucket list since I love visiting these kind of places which have rich history of ancient civilization. One can say looking at these structures that how advanced these civilizations must have been in those times as well. The Pharaohs of Egypt build these pyramids with a belief that once they died and they were rested there it was their path of ascension to the heavens, and that these pyramids were a bridge for them between heaven and earth and giving them immortality.

Sharing some memories of my visit to the Pyramids, it was an overwhelming experience for me. When I reached there I could not believe that I was witnessing something so magnificent and so ancient. Trust me visiting these kind of places do make you feel like going back in time.
