Travel Diaries - Visiting Murren

Murren is a small hill station in the Swiss alps. To reach this place, the main station is Interlaken, from there you go to another station Lauterbrunnen by cable car and from Lauterbrunnen then to Murren by a mini train. It is an adventurous journey all the way up and not to miss the views, they are simply breathtaking.

On reaching Murren, we started exploring the place by foot, that was the only way we could check out the place. When we reached it was evening time, but everything was shut down. Only the bakery and a couple of restaurants were open. It's a small place and people have a very laid back life.

At Interlaken it was a bright sunny day, but when we reached here to the top it was drizzling and cold. Anyways we were not staying up here. Wanted to see the views from top and the place since I had heard many good praises of the place. I must say that the place is much more then all the praises I had heard. I have fallen in love with it.

From here there is a further way up but it was closed by that time, so we could only explore till here.
