Travel makes me feel smaller

in #travelyesterday

At home, my problems feel huge. My schedule always feels tight. And then when I visit the mountain and stand on the edge of it suddenly,y I’m small again. Small in the good way. The way that says, You’re one person, and the world is very big. Relax.

When someone ask me, What’s the one place that I want to see? I don’t have one. My answer will be I want to visit every nook and corner of this world and go beyond it if possible. Besides the postcard places, I want all the in-between places also. All those places that have no Instagram tag.

When I travel, shopping is not my priority, I bring back thing's customs can’t see and that is loads of memories. A new way to say “thank you, the face of a stranger who helped me, and wanted nothing back. And for surely one magnet from the place on my fridge, which when I look at brings a smile to me. These are the souvenirs that don’t collect dust.

Travelling reminds me I’m alive. Where I goof up, get lost, order a wrong dish and still love all of it. These things remind me that I’m not just notifications and deadlines. I’m a person.

I want to see as many places as I can, not to brag. But because every new place gives me a new experience. The world is too big for “someday.” And too beautiful for “maybe later.”

Travel memories from some of my favorite places
