Date Night with hubby

Spending time with hubby is never enough, as I get older, I feel I am falling more and more in love with him. Our weekdays go in a standard routine most of the time. It is office, work, house chores, gym, and end of the day a little T.V. time. Till almost 3 months back, he was not at all into watching TV shows, but suddenly he has developed interest which sometimes I do not like. His interest is new so he gets glued up on weekends as well. I am the one who wants to be out of home on a weekend evening. Being at home on a weekend evening is like torture for me unless it's a house party.

Since the last few weeks on Thursday evening which is the start of our weekend we have been glued at home watching some or the other series. This weekend I had given him warning that I do not wish to be home and I had to step out. He did agree willingly to it, and we went to one of the Pubs called Trader's Vic. It was a wonderful evening. I ordered one Espresso Martini, which is my all-time favorite, and he ordered his regular scotch. We ordered a Cheese platter along with it.

There was live band and they were playing singing some very good old numbers, I was swaying away with it and enjoying my drink and the company. You can see the happy me in this picture.

We ordered some other food also, but our cheese platter was the show stopper for the evening. My friend had showed me some camera tricks for food photography, which I applied here, and I guess it's come out well. Color and black & white in one.

Weekends like this make the following week energetic for me. These are the little things which keeps the spark in the marriage on.
